Top 5 Christmas Movies to Enjoy With Your Family
Top 5 Christmas movies is all about the Christmas cheer! Of course, you can’t beat snuggling up with family and friends to watch a few Christmas classics. Here, we will share with you some of our favorite Christmas gems. First, Home Alone. As a matter of fact, for those who haven’t yet watched it (where have you been though?) here’s a quick summary: With this in mind, eight-year-old Kevin McCallister gets forgotten by his family. Notably, who jet off to Paris without him. Certainly, his family is trying desperately to get back to America. Albeit, as burglars try to break into the poor kid’s home. However, through much comic relief, Kevin skilfully defends his home.
It’s a Wonderful Life
Second, who does not love It’s a Wonderful Life? Trust us, this is definitely one of the top five Christmas movies of all time. Best of all, this movie has proven to be timeless. In fact, the story is focused upon George Bailey; a local businessman who is shown what life would be like if he didn’t exist by a guardian angel. Therefore, after seeing what life would be like without him, George realizes the positive impact he has had on his small town. In this case, the movie’s main message is one we all like to be reminded of at Christmas; that love makes you richer than money.
Christmas Vacation
Third, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is a hysterical classic. For one thing, this Griswold Christmas movie delivers on the goofball, slapstick front like no other? Of Course, in almost every scene someone is falling through a ceiling, off a roof or sets fire to something in a disastrous fashion. Typically, the Griswolds try desperately hard to make a perfect Christmas for their family. But, as every other National Lampoon movie proves, the harder you try the worse the day turns out.
Elf
Fourth, is Elf. Buddy the elf” is sure to please the whole family in this whimsical film about a boy who was raised as an elf. Best of all, Will Ferrell is genius as he portrays the hysterically funny, but innocent human elf. For instance, as he travels to New York City to find his biological father, Buddy discovers many new customs and traditions in his own hilarious way. To be sure, there is a lot of heart and soul in the way this story cherishes holiday cheer.
A Christmas Story
Last but not least, A Christmas Story. In particular, the story, set in the 1940s, follows Ralphie Parker. With this in mind he is a young boy who tries to persuade his parents and Santa Claus that a Red Ryder Range BB gun is the best Christmas present ever. Likewise, this movie has all the charm. Not to mention, the leg lamp, the pole-licking and the trip to see Santa at the mall. And, of course, the eye-shooting-out finale. Therefore, this movie has some goofy laughs and heartfelt moments. As well as some scares.
Top 5 Christmas movies. Of course, we could go on and on about great holiday movies, but these were just a few our favorites that came to mind. After all, whether it’s around a fire for two or at a holiday party full of friends and family. Nevertheless, there’s nothing quite like watching a favorite holiday movie this time of year! We wish you a wonderful holiday season!
