Villa/Patio Homes in Oakwood Sun Lakes is carefree, easy and virtually maintenance free. Sun Lakes Arizona is an active adult master planned community located at the southern border of Chandler in the East Valley of Phoenix. Oakwood is the newest of the five separate communities, is gated, and is comprised of both single family homes and attached villa/townhomes. Oakwood has two Villa areas with one offering golf course lot homes as well as greenbelt park like settings. The villas, attached with one common wall, are popular with winter residents because they are “lock and go”. A separate homeowner fee covers all exterior maintenance including roof and paint as well as exterior landscaping. You simply take care of the inside. It’s as easy as unlocking the door, turning on the lights, unpacking a few things and you are in the resort lifestyle immediately. When you are ready to leave, turn out the lights, set the temperature, lock the door and you’re done. It can be more simple than that.

Villas range in size from 1300 sq ft to 1774 sq ft with two and three bedrooms available. In the newer villas the Portofino model is the smallest at 1575 sq ft and features two bedrooms, a spacious kitchen and open dining room/great room.  The master and second bedrooms are split and the master suite includes dual vanities and a nice sized walk in closet.

The Verona is just over 1600 sq ft and features two bedrooms, 2 baths and a separate area for an office or den. The kitchen is a nice size with an adjoining breakfast area.

The Naples is the largest at 1774 sq ft and features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a kitchen with pantry space, a bar with breakfast seating and a split bedroom floor plan.

All villas have a covered patio with plenty of space for a BBQ and small table and chairs.
